Ismael Perez received a $1,000 scholarship from the ARJ Civic Association to attend Ramapo College, where he will be a freshman
Ismael, who graduated from Technology High School, is interested in pursing a career in medicine. While attending Technology, he took AP classes to prepare himself for the rigors of college.
Ismael volunteered at UMDNJ over the summer and participated in Seton Hall's Young Developers program, where he was responsible for taking care of laboratory animals. Ismael also volunteered as a nursing assistant.
