Michael J. Caceres graduated from Robert Treat Academy Charter School and is attending St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City in the fall.

Michael has been a member of the Robert Treat Academy robotic team, Steve Adubato's Stand and Deliver, the Urban Exposure lacrosse team and Just One Soccer team.

"Since I began school in kindergarten, sport has always been my outlet to keep me on track academically, he said. "Maintaining good grades has always been my highest priority."

Michael participated in the Newark Academy Summer Enrichment Program, NJIT Explore Careers in Technology and Engineering, the Exxon Mobile Bernard Harris Summer Science Camp and the Mount Lawn Camp and Retreat Center Christian Camp.

"Being able to attend NJIT over the summer and gain experience in the engineering field helped me realize what I would like to do in the future," he said.
