More than 300 Newark seniors celebrated Valentines Day on Thursday, Feb. 11 at the Flamboyan Manor, thanks to the Anibal Ramos Jr. Civic Association and elected officials from Newark.

In addition to ARJ Civic, the event was sponsored by North Ward Councilman Anibal Ramos Jr., Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Mayor Ras J. Baraka, Senator M. Teresa Ruiz, Assemblywoman Eliana Pintor Marin, Assemblywoman Grace Spencer, Council President Mildred Crump, Councilman Carlos Gonzalez, Councilman Eddie Osborne, Councilman Luis Quintana.

"I want to thank all the elected officials who joined us in making this event happen," Ramos said. "It's important for us to remember show love and respect for our seniors."
